Totally agree that men need to start walking the walk of gender equality rather than just giving it lip service. Younger women shy away from feminism because they see feminists demonised by the national media as slavering, man bashers rather than people who believed in equal rights across both genders. Without feminists, there seems no one that is willing to talk about abuse within porn, sex slavery, rape and child care. If men don’t like women critisising some aspects of male culture, then men need to take these subjects up themselves alongside campaigning on child access, work life balance etc.
