With you all the way.

There hasn’t been any genuine mainstream political opposition to the EU (or Common market as it was then) since 1974.

I don’t think anything illustrates the gulf between the public & our politicians as clearly as this. Truly the elephant in the room.

regards
geoff

On the other hand, the neo-liberal policies of the EU economic policies give comfort and succour to the Con-Dem cuts mania.

Marta Andreasson MEP, the former EU head accountant could give them some pointers but of course they sacked her for telling the truth.

I am tired of my unwanted citizenship of the EU. I am tired of my hard earned money been wasted by them and I was unimpressed to learn that we are now being bullied into giving prisoners the right to vote. Why on earth can’t this matter be decided in the UK?

Our unwanted and unelected masters in the EU love the ‘one size fits all’ approach and the issue of prisoners voting is a clear example of just how out of touch our politicians in the UK and Brussels really are.

Another example is our membership of the EU. 55% of us want to leave it but less than 1% of the political class agree.
