You only have to do your own research ,I recommend you look at the work of Peter Taylor a former UN environmental adviser and Richard S Lindzen Professor of Merteorology MIT.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2010/feb/26/keynes-greece-eurozone-policy

“Proud to be a Keynesian eurosceptic. The situation in Greece and the rest of the eurozone shows I was right to oppose ceding control of macroeconomic policy … ”

I note in yesterday’s :Private Eye that UKIP are also climate change deniers, so let us call them Euro-deniers.

Profuse apologies if Eye has libelled them… :,(

Well you may not like him (I don’t know whether I would) but he is an accomplished public speaker (which is more than you can say for Herman) and has an electoral mandate (again unlike Herman). Pretty much everything he said about Herman was also factually correct.
Curiously although he isn’t alone in using pretty blunt language in the chamber (Martin Shultz anyone?) I think he is the only MEP to have been fined for it.

geoff

It made one feel ashamed to be British. Fortunately of course many of his fellow Britons in the Chamber, notably Mr Kirkhope the Conservative Leader, appeared to dissociate themselves from the ranting.

Farage should remember that Geoffrey Howe was once similarly but more colourfully described (by Denis Healey), and look what happened to Thatcher.
