I am a British citizen.
My link with LDD consist in my twenty years of friendship with the Libertarian professor Boudewijn Bouckaert of Ghent University, who is the ideological pillar of the party (and no 2 in the LDD). He believes in a free and open society based on the free market and individual liberty. As I do. I have never been a member of LDD.
The LDD has no direct links with the fascist Vlaams Belang whatsoever. The LDD is not in coalition with the Vlaams Belang in any place in Belgium: not at local, not at provincial, not at regional and not at national level (probably 1,000 or more possible coalitions).
Obviously I cannot vouch for every member of the LDD, as you, presumably can not vouch for every member of your party.
LDD and Vlaams Belang are quite different. Vlaams Belang is fascist; LDD is libertarian. The ones are collectivists, the others individualists.
