These rioters were well organised thugs, with no respect for their own communities or for anyone else. Stopping the benefits and the benefits of their guradians (should they be minors) is very acceptable and may actually serve four purposes: 1. Punish these criminals. 2. Deter further rioting. 3. Make them get off their backsides and look for a job, as they will now need their own income as the tax payer is no longer funding them, and 4. Show the public (yes the popularist public who have a right to protection from these criminals) that the authorities are on THEIR side, and not the side of the rioters.
