When you come to Marta Andreason there will be much to say of course, her excellent challenge to the Spanish Prime Minister regarding the outrageous treatment of ex-pat Britons who are having their homes demolished and her insights into EU waste and fraud but I hope that you will also mention her book, ‘Brussels Laid Bare’. The book traces her career as EU Head Accountant and then as a unwanted whistle blower.
I recommended it a few days ago to an accountant who was surprised to learn of a book about Accountancy which would be of interest to the general reader. I assured him that it is a real ‘page-turner’.
