DC is clearly not the wily old fox that Harold Wilson was.

I thought that if he comes to power at least he would at least find a way to hold a referendum where the government urged voters to accept a superficially re-negotiated Lisbon Treaty, which would get the support of the voters.

As it is he appears to be trying to portray Gordon Brown as Stalin and himself as Mr Bean.

Maybe that is a winning election formula!
