Absolutely delighted to see this story. Congratulations to all those public servants involved in bringing justice. I hope there can be lots of publicity both here and in countries where women are being trafficked from so that this helps to tackle trafficking at source.

9 years is that all they got? 15-20 years minimum and the carrot is that we wont use the stick. Ie behave in prison or you get life.
When are we going to have sentences that are a real deterent?
I’m really pleased about these payouts, but I think that the new laws on prostitution that Jacqui Smith has introduced are ill thought out and not based on any sound principles. If you are going to ban prostitution, ban it completely and don’t fudge the issue as the government have done.
